Each Etyal is entirely handcrafted using the traditional Japanese Raku firing technique, one of the most celebrated methods in ceramic art. Fired at temperatures of approximately 950–1000°C (1742–1832°F), every piece undergoes the signature rapid cooling and reduction process that defines Raku ceramics. The interaction of fire, smoke, and natural minerals leaves behind remarkable color transitions, metallic lusters, crackled textures, and organic surface patterns, ensuring that no two pieces are ever alike.
